restoration of Villa San REMOLO

The private client has entrusted Sertec Engineering Consulting with the restoration project of Villa Sanremo, a historic building built on a natural cliff which sees a splendid and evocative panorama of the Mediterranean Sea opening up before it. 

Sertec sets itself an ambitious challenge that integrates multiple design departments, involving structural, MEP, architectural and electrical engineers to bring back to life a now uninhabited historic building, located in the first hills of the city of flowers. 

The design objective is to make the internal environment of the building healthy and compliant with health and hygiene standards, demolish non-structural elements damaged by soil infiltration or roof infiltration, as well as deteriorated due to neglect, design both internal spaces and bright lights that reflect the owner’s tastes and arrange both at a structural and landscape level the large forest and park that surround the building in order to give the client a place that fully reflects him but at at the same time in line with the historical heritage of the villa.
