CALUSO – TURIN: ADAPTATION AND FUNCTIONAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE MAIN CABLE SERVED BY THE PUMPING STATION OF CASCINA GABRIELLA, A FARMHOUSE

The Chivasso Irrigation Consortium has entrusted Sertec Engineering Consulting with the supervision of works about the project for adaptation and functional improvement of the main cable served by the pumping station of Cascina Gabriella in the municipalities of Mazzè, Caluso and Chivasso.
The work in question involves the covering after the laying of precast vibro-compressed reinforced concrete elements of various sections open and closed, crossings/bridges, laid on concrete slab reinforced with electrowelded wire mesh. Rubber water stop joints with a minimum width of 20 cm and a central bulb will be placed at the casting breaks.
Obviously for the purpose of future maintenance the use of box culverts for the channel lining presents high quality characteristics.
