Architectural design

SERTEC develops architectural projects of different scale, from the conception phase to the realization phase. The strength of SERTEC’s projects are the experience and professionalism of the designers, the multidisciplinary  process of BIM design and the sensitivity to the theme of sustainability.

Interior design

SERTEC also takes care of the enhancement of the property with dedicated relooking projects that always aim at the total customer satisfaction, functionality and environmental sustainability: it plans the renovation of indoor and outdoor spaces, selects materials, recommends fixed and movable furniture, identifies the best specific solutions, takes care of every detail until the end of the “turnkey” works.

Structural design

This division is organized into two distinct and complementary services: the design of reinforced and pre-compressed concrete works, the design of iron, wood, glass, plastic and derivative works.

MEP Plant design

SERTEC works with BIM methodology for design, and calculation of mechanical, electrical, special and plumbing systems ensuring integration, performance and sustainability. This  division is organized into three services: fluid and aeraulic systems (heating, air conditioning, air treatment, water distribution, technical gases) for industrial complexes, entire districts, individual buildings; electrical installations for civil, industrial buildings (MV/LV electrical cabins, electrical power distribution for lighting and motive power, generators, UPS and systems for the production of electrical energy from renewable sources) and at the service of public urbanization works (lighting for roads, parks, tunnels, parking lots, etc…); special installations (home automation systems, BEMS, automation, monitoring of electrical consumption, structured wiring, CCTV, automatic and manual fire detection systems, sound diffusion and EVAC systems, electronic systems in general).

Hydraulic design

SERTEC serves public bodies, agencies, and government authorities, public and private industrial enterprises, with design and technical-economic consulting services in the fields of hydrology (determination of flow rates of natural watercourses and urbanisation, mathematical modeling of inflows-outflows); of the river and environmental hydraulics (basin studies, accomodations, modeling of flood events and overflows; sizing of drains and diversion channels, bridges and crossings in general; study of debris flows on natural and urbanized conoids; hydraulic compatibility checks for urban planning tools  and civil protection plans, of discharges with flood and lean flow rates; practises for the acquisition of lithoid material, determination of minimum vital outflow in natural watercourses), of the hydraulics (sizing and design of aqueduct networks, sewage networks,  flood drains, irrigation systems, hydroelectric power plants on natural watercourses and on aqueducts; sewage and rainwater lifting plants, sewage treatment plants,; derivation works, dams and rolling tanks).

Geotechnical design

For what concerns the solution of geo-technical and soil mechanics problems, SERTEC produces geological insights in support of engineering and architecture (analysis of geological, geomorphological, environmental and constraining conditions for civil and industrial design); studies in support of land use planning  and environmental  impact assessment (analysis of geological, geomorphological, environmental and constraining conditions for urban and regulatory, environmental and sectoral plans, hydrogeologic planning basin); in situ geo-gnostic surveys (analysis of the geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological and chemical-physical conditions of the site where to operate).

Landscape environmental design

SERTEC takes care both of the drafting of all the necessary paperwork of the “Verification phase of the EIA procedure for new works projects and for the Environmental Impact Assessment Phase of major works” such as new production facilities, hydroelectric power plants and quarries.

The Environmental Impact Study makes it possible to assess in a precise manner the environmental implications of a project in order to eliminate or reduce any problems, and to reorganize the necessary post-project monitoring operations . The starting point for the Study is the perfect analytical knowledge of the territory; the final goal is always to achieve a sustainable project, integrated with the context, for the improvement or preservation of the environment and landscape quality.

P&CM

Safety

SERTEC is fully responsible for every single step of Safety Coordination – pursuant/according  to Legislative Decree 81/2008, as per the qualifications held by the members – from the Design Phase to the Executive Phase. There is no exception to the Safety Coordination of quarries and mines, for which SERTEC operates from the drafting of the Safety and Health Document to the works management, including the application and management of the use of explosives in the quarry. In addition to these services, there are the services concerning the performance of RSPP function (Prevention and Protection Service Manager), drafting of DUVRI (The Combined Interference Risk Assessment Report) and DSS (The Health and Safety Document) for public and private clients.

Consulting

SERTEC combines economic, financial, commercial and legal expertise with engineering and scientific expertise with perfect integration. Technical and financial consulting activities include estimates, appraisals and real estate valuations, risk assessment studies, preliminary activities and formalization of requests for the achievement of authorizations and mandatory opinions, assistance to the General contractor in the management of complex works, project financing studies, real estate technical due dilengence activities.

Energy Efficiency

SERTEC ensures the convenience of the “turnkey” service, including the  energy diagnosis (evaluation of the technical and economic feasability of the energy efficiency intervention), of the design, the implementation of the intervention and assistance.

SERTEC’s technicians are able to optimize a building’s consumption by reducing its operating and maintenance costs, improving its performance, increasing its comfort and healthiness of the environments, up to the property’s market value.

Survey

This division has the task to realize the preliminary surveys of the sites destined to host the future works in plan, by subsequently recreating a topographic model on which to carry out every consideration about the morphology of the area under examination. SERTEC ENGINEERING CONSULTING/SERTEC ENGINEERING FRANCE performs planoaltimetric measurements (in order to create geometric ground calculations), aerophotogrammetric drone surveys (to obtain the three-dimensional terrain model), road and building tracing, black and white sewer tracing, celerimetric reliefs with disto and clisimeter, detailed laser scanner surveys for the analysis of complex objects and the documentation of the historical and cultural heritage.

Virtual reality

SERTEC takes advantage of the strong expansion and evolution of virtual reality in order to make interactive all the environments created with 3D graphics, coming from the fields of architecture, design, building and construction. Not just simple 360° panoramic photographs, but real three-dimensional spaces where it is possible to move and interact with elements of the environment

The virtual reality experience allows to the clients a full immersion into the 3D project or drone survey, directly from their PC or smartphone, in order to appreciate the validity of the project or evaluate it more critically.
