Sertec celebrates 70 years of the portable mechanical typewriter “Lettera 22”
In order to celebrate and commemorate the seventieth anniversary of the famous portable mechanichal typewriter Olivetti “Lettera 22”, the Associazione Archivio Storico Olivetti (Olivetti Historical Archive Association) in collaboration with Olivetti x Tutti (Olivetti per tutti) has created/created a limited edition in a “tricolor” version through a conservative restoration of 70 units bringing the mechanics to its famous functionality, keeping all those indelible signs left by time and work, those signs that give the machine a unique charm.
Each of the 70 typewriters was numbered from 1 to 70 and matched to the original serial number.
In order to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Olivetti “Lettera 22” Sertec Engineering exhibited on display in its offices the exemplar No. 29.
Each typewriter is unique and unrepeatable.
