DESIGN FOR THE NEXT COMMUNITY
We offer you a short video story of “Design for the next community”, an event organized by the Municipality of Ivrea, which took place from September 18th, 2020 to September 27th,2020 within the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A week full of workshops, meetings and walks, dedicated to the theme of urban regeneration, to spread the culture typical of Olivetti and its possible reinterpretations through innovative developments in the IT sector.
“Design for the next community” is a project of the Municipality of Ivrea, promoted by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of MiBACT (Ministero dei Beni delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo, Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism), in collaboration with Sertec Engineering Consulting, Archivio Nazionale Cinema Impresa (National Archive Cinema Enterprise), Associazione Archivio Storico Olivetti (Olivetti Historical Archive Association), UNI Canavese, Turismo Torino e Provincia (Tourism Turin and province), under the patronage of the Piedmont Region, Metropolitan City of Turin and Oder of Architects of Turin.
