Conversion of the former Brambilla cotton mill into a modern boarding school, with the insertion of an independent and reversible steel structure within the existing building. The intervention introduces a modular and flexible system designed to adapt to the diverse needs of students, creating a campus integrated into the local educational hub and serving the surrounding valleys.
At ground-floor level, shared spaces such as the dining hall and recreational areas will be provided, with openings toward the exterior. The upper floors will accommodate double rooms, lounge areas, and spaces dedicated to study and relaxation.
