The Via Arconati Urban Park project is part of the broader Urban Intergeneration initiative for the Biumo Inferiore district in Varese, with the aim of giving the community a more accessible, inclusive and recognizable public space.
The redevelopment transforms the park into a meeting place for different generations, connecting Via Arconati, Via Cairoli, the future student residence and the wider neighbourhood. The new design introduces areas for play, rest, picnics, physical activity and relaxation, creating a sequence of open spaces that can be enjoyed by students, children, elderly people and residents.
Particular attention is given to greenery, soil permeability and the quality of materials, with the aim of enhancing the memory of the place and strengthening the relationship between nature, the city and everyday life.
Via Arconati Park thus becomes a new collective space for Biumo Inferiore: a place for connection, well-being and social interaction.
