Development of a Civic Center and New School Complex

Client: Comune di Settimo Torinese

Budget: € 5.390.994,16

Partner: –

New school complex and Civic Center in Settimo Torinese, designed to bring together the Martiri and Pezzani schools within a single facility and to serve as the focal point of the “Borgo Nuovo 2030” regeneration programme.

The new building will accommodate both educational functions and civic spaces accessible beyond school hours, including a gymnasium convertible into an auditorium, a foyer designed for coworking, and an amphitheatre-style atrium for meetings and extracurricular activities. The project also includes a park open to the community, featuring a tree-lined buffer along Via Fantina.

The structure, composed of three distinct yet integrated volumes, is defined by a functional and innovative design, with a reinforced concrete structural frame, partly prefabricated and partly cast in situ, ensuring both solidity and flexibility.
