Safety intervention on the Rio Cassarot, aimed at preventing debris flow events and protecting the surrounding area from potential future damage.
The project предусматри the construction of a containment basin extending along the alluvial fan, with increasing width to enhance the retention capacity for solid material. The basin bed has been shaped with transverse steps to slow down debris flows and reduce their energy, while the internal profile is designed to ensure the regular conveyance of water.
The intervention, inspired by principles of environmental sustainability and zero earth balance, improves the hydraulic safety of the area, enabling more effective management of debris flow phenomena and reducing the risk associated with extreme weather events.
