Mining Site

Design for the recovery and enhancement of disused mining heritage, with the aim of returning the site to the community as a thematic park focused on historical memory and local mining culture.

The project seeks to transform the area into a tourist and educational hub, combining experience, knowledge, and sustainability. Through the restoration of tunnels, mining structures, and routes, the site’s geological, mineralogical, and historical resources will be enhanced within a high-quality environmental and landscape setting.

The park will be designed to offer an interdisciplinary experience, addressing natural, technological, archaeological, and cultural aspects. It will act as a driver for local tourism and economic growth, while preserving the area’s industrial heritage and collective memory.
