Client: Verbania Municipality

Budget: € 3.787.040,24

Partner:

Urban redevelopment of Piazza Ranzoni and the surrounding areas in Intra, through a project aimed at revitalizing the town center and strengthening the relationship between the city and the lake. Funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 5, the intervention forms part of broader actions focused on territorial cohesion and the enhancement of urban spaces.

The project has redesigned public areas, improved soft mobility, enhanced the waterfront promenade, and introduced new urban furnishings, lighting systems, and green spaces.

The intervention also involved Via Baiettini, Corso Mameli, the former Piazza del Municipio, and the lakeside stretch between the harbor and the former landing stage. Particular attention was given to the historical and landscape context through a participatory planning process.

The objective is to create a more functional, inclusive, and sustainable urban environment, giving the city back a high-quality public space.
