New intermunicipal cycling network connecting the coastal municipalities from Salerno to Agropoli, integrating historic sites such as Paestum and natural areas like the mouth of the Sele River.
The proposal aligns with European and regional sustainable mobility strategies and is consistent with the Ciclopista del Sole and EuroVelo 7 routes.
The cycle path will be 2.50 meters wide, bidirectional, and surfaced with permeable paving, adapting to both urban and natural contexts. It will include at-grade and elevated sections along urban and interurban roads, as well as independent stretches through parks and green areas. The objective is to create a continuous and interconnected route that links currently fragmented cycling infrastructures.
