Four Bicycle Routes
Construction of Cycling Routes
Client: Metropolitan City of Turin
Budget: € 5.368.295,68
Partner: Ing. Chiarini Enrico
Design and construction supervision of the new metropolitan cycle path between Mappano and Turin, as part of the strategy “Bridges, connections and management models for urban regeneration,” promoted by the Metropolitan City of Turin. The project aims to encourage sustainable mobility, reduce pollution, and ensure a safe connection between the two urban centers.
The route is bidirectional and fully segregated from vehicular traffic, featuring high-smoothness paving and certified New Jersey barriers to enhance safety. Developed through an integrated design approach, the project addresses environmental sustainability, accessibility, and landscape integration.
The intervention is complemented by monitoring systems and urban green enhancement measures. The result is infrastructure that promotes the daily use of bicycles and strengthens metropolitan connectivity.
