The former “Coniugi Fascio” Nursery School in Feletto has undergone a major redevelopment project, returning to the community a renovated, accessible and sustainable building designed to accommodate new social and cultural activities.

The commission was entrusted to architect Marco Di Perna, a partner at Sertec Engineering. The project included the architectural restoration of the building, improvements to its energy performance and seismic safety, the restoration of historically significant features, and the enhancement of the interior spaces.

Particular attention was paid to preserving the building’s original character, while integrating contemporary solutions to create brighter, healthier, more functional and inclusive environments. The spaces have thus been transformed into venues for activities, meetings and community gatherings, strengthening the connection between the building and the local community.

The project successfully brought together memory, identity and the future, preserving the history of the site and transforming it into a new opportunity for the local area.
