New Educational Complex near Terni

Client: Alviano Municipality

Budget: € 1.914.994,91

Partner: ADW ARCHITECTS, Arch. Lorenzo Annibale

Design of the new school complex for the Attigliano–Guardea Comprehensive Institute, funded through NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) resources.

The project aims to create a school integrated into the landscape, respectful of its topographical and climatic characteristics while meeting contemporary educational needs. Conceived as a safe yet dynamic environment, the building will function as a place for learning, play, social interaction, and intergenerational exchange. Organised into five main volumes, the layout places service areas to the north and classrooms to the south, while the central space is defined by the “Agora”, the heart of the school: a flexible, multifunctional environment for both curricular and extracurricular activities. The project envisions an open and inclusive school, where architecture actively supports the educational process.
