Redevelopment of a high-value historic site along Strada Antica di Grugliasco, comprising the 18th-century Armano villa, a farmhouse complex, and a private chapel. The project, developed in two phases, aims to enhance the existing heritage through a sustainable approach that is respectful of its context.
Phase 1 includes selective demolition works to remove recent or low-value additions, restoring historical coherence and improving the legibility of the site.
Phase 2 involves the restoration and structural consolidation of the protected historic buildings, including the villa with its chapel, the former carriage storage building (Rimesse), and the old granary, with targeted structural strengthening and safety upgrades. The overall objective is to create a new cultural and urban hub where historical memory is integrated with a contemporary and functional vision of space.
