On the occasion of the GOLDEN HEATS, the event that celebrates positive values and fair play in football, the project for the new Federal Technical Center of the Italian Football Federation, to be built in Venaria Reale, was presented.
Inspired by the model of the National Team’s headquarters in Florence, the project involves the restoration and redevelopment of the “Don Mosso” sports center, which has long been in need of a new life, thanks to a collaboration between the Municipality of Venaria, the Piedmont Region, and FIGC–Lega Nazionale Dilettanti.
The interventions aim to relaunch the municipal sports facility by enhancing its functionality: it will feature two pitches, one synthetic and one with a hybrid grass-synthetic surface, a stand with a capacity of up to 1,500 spectators, a medical room, an anti-doping control room, a press room, and catering services, as well as changing rooms for teams, coaches, referees, and match officials.
